This art is True Canon.

The new 90210 was like an AU b/c only orig. actors had any connection to it.

The same writers were needed from the orig. 90210 and weren't connected.

You don't have both together then a show isn't Canon.

Finally, after a couple of sony vegas errors and lots of remaking the video it’s finished. My new video tribute to one of my alltime favorite couples ever, Kelly & Dylan. It's ironic that years ago I was making a Dy/K vid to this song and my computer crashed and I lost a lot of work.

I was almost done.

I never tried again to make it.

The lyrics that really stick out in my mind that made me think of DyK were these.

I reminded me of how Dylan was trying to get Kelly back in the last episodes.

The dance metaphor except he was saying it could wait.

The whole song really fits Dy/K in general though.

That is ironic @jamiebee. Cause i have never had so many issues working on a video as i had with this one. Haha. My new version of sv (pro 11) seemed to have a big error in it, but it surfaced near the end when i was almost finished. Then i could not save it and after trying again and again the program gave up on me. So i had to install an older version and remake the vid. Luckily i kind of remembered what scenes i had used, others i have added and think it actually looks better now, so it was good for something i guess 😉

It immidiately made me think of them too going through my music folders last week.

I'll be honest. I was worried when I saw what song it was, but that just touched all my circuits. A few shorter and alternative slices of clips got me.

In particular, between 0:21-0:25 and 1:00-1:06. Also, the small insertion of the 'windstruck' kiss at 0:54. Sometimes cutting off sooner creates its own effect for the brain and it seems 'new'.

Oh, and the way that Kelly looks at Dylan at 1:38 ("I'm proud of you" scene).

Funeral hug for this context too.

That is so frustrating. I know if it were me, I'd purposely change some of the clips to justify losing the first version, lol. But usually in scenarios like that, you do end up with a better product so long as you stay in the game and don't give up.

I have barely watched the new 90210. I watched a few episodes and could never get into it.

Plus I barely remember things. No, I don't consider the spinoff to be canon with this series. Love the idea of Dylan and Kelly having a son and Erin growing up to be a fan of their relationship, but that's just for the ideas.

YW and I'm sorry you had such a hard time with it but I think end result was worth it IMO.
