I think that is what messed up S7 because of the weak characters in Tracy and Mark. They should have just put BK back together in early S7 and just give them more storylines and struggles in life

I agree, and I am not even a Kelly/Brandon fan. Tracy and Mark were completely unnecessary. Kelly and Brandon did all the pining in S6 already. The reunion dragged too long.

Also, I did not have have to see anything related to Donna that season. Fire, lamb, blabla. I liked Cliff though

The reunion did drag on for far too long.

I don't think I liked any guest stars in S7 - I think Tom was OK though.

But one of my favorite singers Luther Vandross made an appearance on My Funny Valentine episode

edit: oh, and the guy who played Smith Jerrod on Sex and the City also showed up in S7, right? Jason Lewis, His character was Rob. He was super hot too. I don't remember a **** of his scenes, except that he was VAL'S ONLY LOVE INTEREST WHOM SHE DID NOT SHARE WITH KELLY OR DONNA, and that was awesome.

I honestly couldn't remember who Rob was and I just googled him and wow yes I forgot about him

That storyline felt so out of left field. Val with a movie star who she inspired to make better decisions about his career, but then he dumped her (I think) because he could see that her feelings for him weren't real.

...He dumped her, right? Not the other way around? It's been a while since I've seen those episodes.

I remember that he always had a monotone way of speaking and his expressions were always flat

He seemed like he had come off a random soap opera. Their relationship was written like a fantasy, and then became controlling & weird because Val wanted to seize power over his film career (or something) and he got sick of it because he genuinely liked her, then just disappeared

I typically enjoyed most of this season, and I didn't remember him until I recently re-watched. Rob left acting after his movie premiere or something cuz he got bad reviews?? Or did I still miss something in that storyline??

It was nice for Val to get her own thing for a while though.

I think that's why he left

He couldn't tolerate the business of Hollywood and how power hungry Val was.

I agree, the beginning was a little off for me, but overall I enjoyed it. I think if Brandon/Susan were still a thing instead of Brandon/Tracey it would be one of my favorite seasons.

I do prefer Brandon with Susan but I would have liked Brandon go back with Kelly early in the season instead of dragging it on with Tracy
