Me too. It felt very warm and gang-ish. Oh, I love this season.

I have probably made a similar observation before, but there is a certain symmetry between this episode and Kelly's eating disorder in S3 when Kelly is in distress and everyone gathers for her. I prefer this episode, and not just because Brenda is in the center. It shows that dealing with trauma and healing is not a one-step process. And although in both cases everything gets solved basically within one episode which is a bull, with Brenda after robbery we see the process and that many efforts have to be made, and how important support network is, while with Kelly some comforting words from Dylan were enough and voilà, her problems are solved - at least until S5. That was not very serious.

That is an interesting parallel. I did enjoy both storylines and it was interesting to see how they were both handled.

I mean, I found them much better than how trauma was handled in later seasons.

Good summer episodes.

Summer episodes of S2 rocked! I prefer them to those in S3. The gang was becoming stronger that summer, while the next summer they were betraying each other by and large.

I loved the summer episodes in season two. It was such a nice bonus.

Watching some S2 stuff, I am sure that the theory that Brenda and Andrea got distant after Brenda slapped her in Pass/Not Pass is not true. Among the girls, Andrea is still closest with Brenda, much closer than with Kelly and Donna. Of course, she's closer with Brandon and Steve than with the girls But in any case, she and Brenda do share moments of support in S2: not just in Pass/Not Pass, but in general during the summer acting class, when the girls revamp Andrea's room, when Brenda is held at the gunpoint, when they study - also, Brenda is the only one to encourage and support Andrea in her condom crusade in Everybody's Talkin' about It. They had a lot in common.
