I joined this forum in 2007 but have been gone a LONG time so I thought I'd reintroduce myself. It'd be interesting to compare my answers in '07 to my answers now. My guess is they're pretty much the same.

Since what year have you been watching? Since 1991, when I was 8.
Do you own any of the DVDs? I own official copies of seasons 1, 2 and 4 and unofficial copies of seasons 1-10.
What’s your favorite couple? I enjoy many of the show's pairings but Brenda and Dylan are my absolute fave.
Favorite character? Brenda
Least favorite character? Um...probably Noah, ugh.
Favorite scene? Brenda and Dylan reuniting in the S2 epi, Wildfire.
Favorite season? Season 1 but Season 4 is quickly catching up.
What made you a 90210 fan? I started watching for Shannen Doherty and then fell in love with the heart, soul and chemistry of the cast and storylines.

Mel, you were 8 when you started watching, too, right? I'm pretty sure the first episode I saw, live, was episode 19 of S1, with Roger Azarian (blanking on the episode name right now) but I remember writing a 3rd grade journal entry about episode 11, BYOB, so unless there was a rerun of BYOB run, late in the season, I guess I started watching earlier in the season than I realized lol.

Yes, I've been re-watching the show recently. It's been great to revisit the episodes; I always discover new things, each time I watch. I guess my life experiences help me filter the show's happenings differently or something. Every few years, I seem to revisit BH 90210. I am sure it will ALWAYS be my favorite show.

No, actually I was 9 and just about to turn 10, but the year was also 1991. I was in another country at the time and they got the series a year late, so I watched from the Pilot on and then when I got back to the U.S. had to play some catch-up on S2 in reruns. And there were a lot of reruns, lol. A few may have fallen through the cracks, though, cause when the show went into daily syndication (while S4-S5 was airing), some S2 eps seemed new to me. I also, like you, have specific S1 episodes that stick out way more than the rest as if they were the first I ever saw.

When I was 8, the show was so off my radar. I still had dolls and legos. I did not understand the concept of dating and sex yet, or high school. Even at 9/10, S1 was like profoundly educational for what I could follow.

I've heard of people even being 5 when they started watching. Five. I'd love to know what a psychedelic experience that would've been like.

I love to hear how people got introduced to BH 90210 and it amazes me that so many were so young. 5, wow, I can't imagine. I remember sorta kinda understanding some of the innuendo in S1, at 8. I know my younger bro thought the show was scandalous and I guess I did too. When I rewatched it, for the first time, at 15, I remember how positively innocent and, almost wholesome it seemed lol.

I think I have the journal entry about BYOB, somewhere, I really want to find it.
