Well, maybe it's self-explanatory but Kelly buys him the kind of car his Uncle Hank used to drive, to lift his spirits in S9. (Yeah, like I'm supposed to believe he has an Uncle Hank, though.

It's one of only a few Dy/K highlights in S9. That's why I remember it. Things get really salty between them in those later years.

Exactly, though (with some later year exceptions). Well, cute may not be the adjective, but that's part of what made them great. They had BUSINESS with each other. You wanna tussle? Let's tussle. That's really not meant to sound so graphic. Heh. You can't predict how your 25th 'anniversary' thread's gonna start out.

What I mean is that they challenged each other. And Kelly didn't take such things without a fight.

I always loved their interactions, only because I knew deep down that they would work things out and they were meant to be with each other. You can't fight destiny.

Whoa, you're a big soulmate believer, aren't you? I never accepted the destiny part for Dy/K, but loved them just the same. I didn't even think we were supposed to believe that in the end -- just that they worked their way back to each other. But a lot of fans think they were meant to be taken as actual soulmates, so ... well, okay. They still put in the work, though. They earned it. I know: they were fated to strive for each other's eternal love, and earn it.

And you just can't fight a love as deep (and long!) as theirs.

That's like my second favorite hug of the series.

Yeah I am

I like the whole soulmate concept and I think it really fitted these two. I think I just like to believe that they were destined to be with each other and after the series ended I knew they would be together forever, I like being all smushy
