Maybe Donna was too busy taking care of Rocky to go to the secret meeting/mission, but I remember David also complimenting her on being the kind of person to have the good judgment not to go.

Brenda and Donna had such a beautiful friendship. The end of S4 was especially strong. I was so disappointed when Donna was all "Brenda Who?" in S5. But I guess that's the rule in this show, you can't grieve gone characters.

The end of season 4 really did show their bond. It was really sweet when Donna called Brenda her best friend.

 I wish Brenda could've stayed in S5 and see how their friendship develops. I wonder if Brenda would side with Donna and Kelly in the pre-S5 argument between Donna and Kelly about David.__________________

I'm pretty sure she would've stayed out of it or sided with Donna. Wasn't Brenda supposed to be arriving back the day they made up though? So she wouldn't have witnessed their rift regardless.

Sorry, I totally thought the fight took place during the summer until I remembered that Kelly spent the summer away with Brandon and Brenda had two weeks after the finale until she left.

It'll be kinda funny if Donna wanted to move out of the beach apartment and wanted to room with Brenda. Then when Brandon/Kelly/Brenda go with Jim and Cindy go to Minnesota for the summer, Brenda feel bad for leaving Donna alone so she invites her to come along.

I noticed that there are two symmetrical scenes with them in S2 and S3, early episodes of both. In S2 Anaconda they are on the beach and Brenda tells Donna she's tired of Dylan's moodiness or something like that, but then she confides that she misses him. In S3 Too Little, Too Late Brenda starts out as wanting to be independent and not "her boyfriend's little woman," but ends up confiding in Donna how much she misses Dylan.
