Hey I'm a but confused, You said the reason they broke up was because Clare wanted to follow her father, I thought they broke up after Clare catches Steve kissing that other girl and she breaks up with him because he always makes mistakes?

Hm, I hope I'm not making mistakes here but what you're talking about is probably the reason why they broke up during their relationship, I mean I don't remember well at the moment but I know while being together during S6 and 7, they were separated one or two times but got back together not so long after. When I said that about Clare following her father I was just thinking about the end of S7, when Clare actually left the show and again I'm not sure but I know that at the end of their university year her father was leaving to another country (France I think) and then Clare felt bad about leaving him alone so she decided to go with him, that's when Clare and Steve were definitely apart since there's no Clare in season 8, it wasn't actually a real break-up.
Now, I might check all of this to be sure, it's been a while since I watched those ep

Him and Claire should of gotten back together..Kelly and Dylan broke up like a million times, and they still ended up together in the end..Janet was too uptight and boring for Steve..she made his character seem to old acting.
