I bet that's how it would be. The thing that's unique about Brandon/Kelly is that a lot of their relationship happened during the years where any given season could be the show's last, and then of course whoever's together or pining then would get a happy ending.

Ah, yes...that scene, where she reminds him of how she dropped by in DC...I was so happy Brandon won that scholarship. Kelly totally OWNED Mark the Mushroom Head after telling him at the end of the episode. UGH, I never liked that guy at all!

I thought it was a good way to address the upcoming reunion without yet starting up its climax/a big fuss. They tied Kelly back in with some of the themes present around the time of their former relationship (Brandon's political/educational ambition, etc) and it wasn't predictable.

I actually hate that other S7 scene. That issue was dealt with and buried in S5, then they just dig it up (along with another fire, lol). I didn't believe, at that point, that Kelly had unresolved resentment. And it's not like Brandon knew there'd be a fire that night and decided to stay home.

ITA, and even if it wasn't water under the bridge in the middle of a fire was so not the time or place for that convo. Then again, I think the whole fire was just handled oddly.

I just had a quick question and I thought this would be the best place to ask, since you guys are BK experts.
Which season would you say has the most BK moments in it? I'm nearing the end of S7 and there has been some great Brelly action as the season winds down, but alot of it was just the waiting for them to get back together. Does S8 hold much BK? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me.

I'd say S5 and S8 have the most Bn/K and are pretty even with it.

You can bring up issues of the past without having to 'actually' relive them.
