I've never been to Hawaii before but Brandon's hotel room in Hawaii always looks kinda old-school to me.
And I think his clothes really match it. This scene where he's thinking about calling Kelly somehow always reminds me of that movie, "Revolutionary Road." Not so much because of the drama but just the appearance. __________________

I still envision that Brandon and Kelly ended up together and Brenda ended with Dylan. I'm pretty sure that would have been the outcome if Jason and Shannen would have still been on the show when it ended.
