It's so funny seeing him as bellboy in S1 and knowing what will happen to "him" and Brenda later on

A part of me was happy Dylan took notice/was jealous/protective/possessive of Brenda being with someone new, but another part wanted to smack him. Like, where do you get off getting in Stuart's face about hurting her after you broke her heart? I kind of wanted Stuart to give a retort like that, but Brenda probably didn't tell him about the triangle.

They all go out along with Kelly to horsback riding and it's adorable how Dylan & Brenda kinda pull away from everyone and have their little moment right there

Yeah, I get what you mean. I think Dylan didn't really understood how much he hurt Brenda...or at least he didn't want to think too much about it. I feel that part of the pain of not being able to work out their relationship added to the pressure from third parties made him turn off all thoughts about what Brenda was going through...to the point where it was easier to believe she had truly moved on, especially after their "almost" moment in The Little Fish.
