I love that library scene. So short yet so powerful. So much chemistry. I always chuckle at the Richard Burton reference. Dylan was sort of Brenda's Richard Burton. I'm not sure if any of you caught it or know about them. Elizabeth and Richard shared a love that was deep and fierce, the kind of love that can often be as destructive as it is beautiful. It's funny Dylan says this because he is talking about them. It's not like Brenda had many boyfriends especially in the same category as them. Give or take

I bet you guys won't look at that scene the same again if you didn't know about Liz and Rich. They married each other twice lol Also even when married or with other people they talked daily and remained in love and best friends. Some say they had that soulmate kind of love that is so intense it doesn't usually work out. I love that he compares them to them even though Liz and Richard do not end up together. Well I guess bren and Dylan didn't either huh.

As for London...I always imagine how that would be. I also imagine it ending considering how Dylan was in season 9. If only Luke hadn't needed the money and job and stayed in London as Dylan. Stupid Luke. He belonged there. And don't even get me started on the lies they fed us when Luke returned. I despise those last two seasons with the passion.

Yep Dylan should have stayed in London. Hey if they stayed in London they may end up with a London Cockney accent. In fact I remember Brendas attempt on the English accent with Jim when she announced going to London in the S4 finale.

I was thinking about that too. I wonder if it crossed Dylan's mind too

Brenda did compare herself to Maggie, the character she and Liz played in The Cat on the Hot Tin Roof.
