Has Val ever been to psychotherapist/psychiatrist? Almost everyone in the gang did, but I'm not sure about her. She definitely needed one. Suicide/killing of her father, whatever the SL was, rape by her father, by Noah's brother, maybe also someone else, her own suicide attempts... Not to mention her own ambiguous desires - to fit into the gang, but make their lives miserable. Her characterization was all over the place.

I am not sure if she ever did. I don't remember it ever being mentioned.

She really had a fixation on the things the other women had, or she thought they had. First Brenda, then Kelly. Probably because she realized that Kelly's actually got all the she considered Brenda's. I guess she was traumatized and unhappy so she was trying to be someone she wasn't all the time.

But there was too much obsession with other women, really. I even start to think that Val was a latent lesbian. Ok, ok, I'll see myself out :lol:

You make a good point there. It's unhealthy to be jealous like that and I'd have to watch a little more to see about Val being a lesbian but it's always possible.

Don't I have a thing for bad girls or what and I know a lot about that.
Anyway I love Val and her character is great to watch. Tiffani is a very beautiful women - a dream lady for any man.
I really do love the dual between her and Kelly, it's awesome

Val was a great character to watch. I loved her journey.

Great thing about Val is that she is not the all-goody type. I love her rebellious bad girl ways. She is very bad but hot as hell.:)
Obviously she is vulnerable because of what happened to her during her childhood years and I love Brandon for looking after her even though he knows she is a bad one. Despite her several attempts in breaking off BK, she did appreciate Brandon a lot

She had a lot of love for Brandon and I think she felt he was one of the few family members she felt she had.
