Me too. Makes her looks more distinguished. I adore the cap of her and Brandon. That scene was so bittersweet. The way she just clang on to Brandon for dear life while she sobbed.

Oh I know. Talk about beauty in the breakdown, Tiffani owned that moment!

So true. All her sl's were five times more entertaining than most of the other one's going on in the later seasons.

I agree. I loved how she managed the After Dark too.
I'm just glad the truth came out about just what went down and that it was his brother Josh that had slipped her the drugs and not Noah. |

Yup, I saw that PiCkLeS4dAwSoN. I still love how Noah and David pretty much falter completely when running the club while Val is so large and in charge. Even if she does get involved in shady dealings sometimes...lol.

I know right! She's the only one who truly knows how to run that club. I remember that time David.................and I forgot who the other guy was, were running it during Superbowl Sunday, and had to end up calling Val in the end for help. That was great. She just rules all!

It was just fitting as Val as the owner of that club. It was like her baby. She did anything to make sure it was successful and to keep it running. One of the main thing I loved about Valerie was how ambitious she was. At only 19, I love how she was such a driven businesswoman.

A very big, loyal, giving heart. A big example shown in how Valerie took care of all of her men. At least the one's she was serious with like Colin and David. Trying to make all of their problems go away.
Isn't it kind of funny that her relationship with "Smith" from SATC mirrored the one he had with Samantha? Given how he was an actor and Valerie was a bit Samantha-esque. Last edited by cartiergurl01; 07-03-2008 at 03:02 PM |

So it was the whole date rape storyline eps today..........I still can't get over how horrible they all treat her. And then they're only decent after she wins the case........so typical.
I'd forgotten about Jason Lewis' being on there and his storyline with Valerie, you're right, very similiar. |

Didn't like Kelly saying Val was evil to Brandon in the date rape episode. Evil is such a harsh and stereotypical word. It just didn't ring true considering Val's many layers and Tiff's nuanced portrayal. Val became the girl who cried wolf by that point. No one believed her when something so awful really did happen.
I love the few moments where Val's bad girl persona is shed in S8. Like when she gives David the cactus and tells him that once a year it blooms and it's really beautiful if you can stand its prickliness for its own protection the rest of the time. |
