I think it'll give it a try. Hopefully there'll be plenty of surprises.

I've managed to stay away from B&S spoilers

That's great!
Anyway... Saul hasn't had that much screen time, but does anyone have a favorite Saul moment? __________________

Favorite Saul moment ... that's hard. I think my favorite Saul episode was the holiday show. I loved how he was so devoted to his faith but he still managed to incorporate the family and their traditions even though they were more secular. Everyone gathered around as he said the prayers and lit the menorah was really sweet, IMO. I love all the moments when he is bringing the family back together after or during fights.

How weird is it to have Ron in this role, so different than his last TV job as "Arvin Sloane" on Alias? It speaks a lot that he can change so much as far as the characters he's playing and pull it off so convincingly

He was so good on Alias. I really liked him on that show, though I didn't get to watch it too much. RR is really good at taking a role and totally immersing himself within it. Yet he can then come right out of that role and jump into something entirely different too.

Didn't Patricia Wettig also appear on Alias once or twice? Or was it just RR?

12! I didn't realize it was that many! I wasn't a regular viewer of Alias, but, wow, I missed a lot!

I only watched it sporadically and it was hard to follow not being a regular viewer.

Does it still air in reruns anywhere? There are too many seasons to start buying all the DVDs!
