When does it have to be shown to qualify? Cause it's getting a December release for LA. I suspect there will be a similar one for New York.

Aren't trailers usually released 4 months prior to release? Or does it depend?

It's usually 3 months for us, but given that it's going to a film festival soon they should be releasing a trailer for that.

For indie films like this it's hard to tell when the trailers will be shown, but it should be soon. Big budget films are easier to predict.
