Sorry I've been MIA from the board but I've been super busy with my life and I really needed some time to process the finale. I'm ok now but it was a difficult weekend. I'll have another busy day tomorrow but I will come back on the weekend to give my thoughts. In short, there were things that I liked and disliked about the episode. Mostly I'm just sad that it's over.

I need a "support group" for fans who feel "cheated" by the finale, does one of those exist?

Well, I know one thing, and I sincerely mean this, It's going to feel very strange with NO BSG on Fridays anymore. It's just, I can't explain it into words, kind of an empty feeling more or less. Still numb I guess?
However, I'm so excited about Caprica (on itunes early people!) hint hint, in April...so that will "hold me over for a few week", but then again it's going to be a while until "the Plan"...now scheduled for fall of 09 (which I believe is a mistake, out of sight out of mind, they should air that movie in May!). Other things I'm looking for "is my BSG 4.5 DVD set", I guess as a "last hurray", but then I wonder how long are we going to have to wait for that. Remember, the deluxe 4.0 set (included the Razor DVD disc), so if the deluxe 4.5 set (includes the Plan DVD disc), we may have to wait until around thanksgiving of 09 for the DVD's!  __________________

For me its Saturday that is going to feel empty, going to miss the time before work when I would wake up early to watch BSG. However, going to switch Dollhouse to that time but then it makes Saturday night empty
I've pre-ordered Caprica, so I'll agree that might help with keeping in with Ron but thats still like a month away. So it'll be rough For me, I might buy 4.5 depending on what exclusive stuff will be included like what I did with S4. But for the whole series on dvd, its going to take a while for them to do a superbox set (if they do) __________________

 to allI am not as down today, but when I think of the finale, see clips, or even hear BSG music, that sets me off again  Aww Tracey When I was watching the finale I kept getting goosebumps I will surely miss the show. I am looking forward to the spin off show, as well as The Plan. The latter of which I didn't know about till a few days ago, so that was a nice surprise. __________________

I believe a complete deluxe BSG boxed set...probably have to wait until 2010 for one of those.
I think the 4.5 DVD sets will have a regular edition and again just like they did with the 4.0 (dog tags, booklet, custom cover), they'll bring out "something" different for the special edition 4.5 DVD set. I'm going to have to buy it, b/c I like to "match" my box art covers, when viewed from the side they make one image __________________

I was an emotional wreck while watching the finale. I cried buckets and I was depressed the entire Saturday. Last time show ending hit me so hard was when Everwood ended.
I feel a lot better now. I've been so busy with real life that I haven't even had the chance to think about the show that much. But I'm excited to have my life back. The show has been consuming my thoughts practically 24/7 since it came back so it's nice to have a life again It's going to take probably a long time until I can watch the finale again. And despite some of my problems with it and the show in general in season 4, I still think it's one of the best shows I've seen. And I always have the DVDs so I can watch my favorite episodes.  __________________
