wow, that is a really good idea Kali. Yes I agree, a lot of people forget that Christmas is not about the most gifts or the expensive ones!

 We did something sort of similar last year but still had some big gifts and the question was asked, where are thoes gifts now... and when the girls couldn't answer it was decided no big gifts. Not to say that through ouut the year thigns won't be gotten but not as gifts more like rewards for all A's on report cards It's been amaing this year so far, no stress, no huge bills and everyone is having fun! It's been nice and what Christmas should be IMO. This just seems to work better for our family :lol; I'll take more fun over stress anyday  This year the girls are making bookmarks for all the girls in the family out of old earrings/necklaces/bracelets and ribbon. and they are having a BLAST because it's ther creations. __________________
