I have a confession to make: I hate Maybe Baby. I liked Hugh in it a lot. But I found the writing to be mediocre at best. Strange, considering Ben Elton is an extremely talented comedic writer. Regardless, he knows nothing about writing for film. Further, the film has the worst guest appearance by Emma Thompson ever! WTH!

I think Emma's role was really cool. I think they only picked her because she had a history with Hugh and Ben and probably some of the others.

Yeah it seems like the same 5 actors do the same movies together But Emma's role was "surprising" I didn't even recognize her fist

I think that's more how she got conned into doing the role.

I can see her wanting to be a part of that cast no matter what the role.

That she is.

I'd give good money to see her in a movie with Hugh again.
