A lot of his movies seem to have that possibility, but I really think this one is exeptional since it's got references and so much more relating to the time it was made- amazing actors - funny dialogue etc. In 20yrs ppl are going to look back at this one & that's going to be what makes them feel it's special.

I feel that way too about 17 Again. I say it all the time, this is the only Zac movie that if it is playing in my living room, any and all members of the family sit down and watch a scene or two or just comment while passing thru "oh I love that movie" and I just smile quietly

there has been so many age switch movies, but i agree this could be a classic like Big. Just the cool Star Wars type stuff and teen situations that never really seem to change much, and the messagees had a lot of sincerity along with the funny parts. I think it will be a classic look back at that time?

It definitely has that "universal quality" to it - that, like Cheryl wrote, can interest everybody. It's a lovestory, a Comedy, a sci fi mystery -- it has so many Amazing aspects to it that I really can see it having a longevity beyond my years.

Awesome comparison Kate! I love that Movie. And it does give you that 80's feel yet it's still so interesting & funny & clever that it never gets boring no matter how many times I see it.
