I think it would be interesting to know who else tried out for the part, but above all I think Zac was perfect for the part and I am so glad Adam reconsidered him.

I am on the writer's side and I want them to get what they deserve but it is starting to annoy me too. I'm just glad it looks like GG are a go.

i remember reading somewhere that someone had turned the part down. i can't remember who though

I have no idea. I don't remember ever hearing about anyone else who tried out. Bet whoever turned it down is kicking themselves right now.

Ditto. The writers themselves aren't annoying me though, as much as the producers and corporates are - it's bugging me that they just won't negotiate and pay the writers the money they deserve. How is it fair that they're making money off other people's work? IT'S NOT!!!

But I shouldn't go on about that.

I can't even begin to imagine what Hairspray would have been like if Zac hadn't been cast as Link *shudders* Just no! In light of that, I quite like this title:

I never heard of anyone turning down the part of Link, just that there was one other actor besides Zac in the very end and they eventually decided to give Zac the role.

I guess Adam didn't regret listening to his sister.
