I'm sad and disappointed that Last Resort was canceled, but not at all surprised. I have to agree with the general concensus that the premise of the show didn't lend itself to a long-term run, but a full season would have been nice.
 At the very least, hopefully Scott reminded his longtime fans how gorgeous and talented he is and picked up some new fans as well. I think he and Andre Braugher were the heart and soul of the show.So.... what's next for him I wonder? I'd be surprised if he jumped back into series television again next year, but if he does, I would love to see him in a smaller character-driven show - on cable! We also have Barefoot which will hopefully show up at a film festival soon, and possibly the Beyond Apollo movie and Atom Egoyan's Queen of the Night (that'll be a TIFF special presentation for sure!). Barefoot is going to be great!  And scruffy Speedy with some fans this week at the mall -  |
