i read somewhere that Paul is the first actor to sign an open-ended contract with Disney, meaning he is not locked into the typical 6-picture deal, but can do as many films with Marvel as he wants, or doesn't want. it's a better deal for him, as he does a variety of projects outside of Marvel/Antman. i did see an AnW interview where PR says he loves playing Scott Lang/Antman, so Disney probably really liked his positivity and nice guy reputation/image, and gave him that freedom of movement in their contract agreements.
