Absolutely, I just wish he'd joined Downton a little sooner, the more scenes he has with Mary, the better.

Totally agree with that Lindsay, it was a waste really, those other suitors, when Mary didn't go with either of them, I did like Charles, but not Tony.
I like how Tom is rooting for them too, I could see him and Henry opening their own business. It's too soon to be ending really, and there's a pretty long gap between the penultimate episode and the Christmas special, that's a little frustrating. |

Elaine Cassidy Replaces Michelle Dockery in Donmar's LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES And I can't wait for this on Sunday.

Very emotional episode last night Lindsay, I felt for both of them, that scene when Henry was sitting at the side of the track looking desolate, was the most heartfelt, I would have hugged him if I'd been Mary.
I can understand why she's feeling that way after what happened to Matthew, but she wasn't thinking straight when she spoke to him on the phone, poor Henry again, and the scene with Tom straight after was beautifully done too...... "Being hurt is part of being alive." great line. |

Yes, intriguing that, and I wonder why Edith's very angry at her too, I can probably guess, I'm looking forward to what looks like a storming row between them.

I think it's because he & Henry both like cars and aside from that, I can't say anything bad with regards to Henry. He's definitely a much interesting character than how Tony was.
