I've seen some rumours about the possibility of a Downton movie, but whether that will happen, we'll see, if it does I'm sure Michelle will be in it.

In the meantime, lots more to look forward to for Season 6

I'm a bit iffy for a DA movie. Obviously it's money for the EPs and the actors but what is it supposed to be: an alternate universe where we see Matthew & Sybil alive or just another rehash of past episodes with everyone present and a "new" drama/angst?

I'm not sure about the idea either, don't know how well it would translate to a movie version. I think it might be better to leave it alone, and end with a really great series and a CS.

If it was a spin off with just one or two of the regular characters, I couldn't see that working somehow, Downton needs the whole cast upstairs and down to make it tick I think Lindsay, and I agree as long as S6 is a really good one, I'll be happy with that.

And Mary gets a good(e) man in her life again too.

That's the one Lindsay, and the rest of the scene with Tony in the hotel I've blanked from my mind
