Mini Biography
Lisa Edelstein began her professional acting career while studying theater at N.Y.U.'s Tisch School of the Arts. After performing in a wide range of productions off and on Broadway, she authored and performed the AIDS-related musical "Positive Me" at Ellen Stuart's La Mama, in Manhattan. It was one of the earliest AIDS-related theater productions.

Lisa gained her first television experience as a host of the cable series "Awake on the Wild Side." In the last several years she has fearlessly taken on a wide variety of roles for television. She played a call-girl girlfriend on "The West Wing," David Conrad's sister on "Relativity," the transsexual boyfriend of James LeGros on "Ally McBeal" and an Orthodox Jewish woman losing custody of her kids on "Family Law." She also played James Spader's love interest on "The Practice", and has had numerous other TV roles and guest appearances.

Her latest and current role is that of hospital administrator Dr. Lisa Cuddy, in the hit medical drama "House". Watch for her in House every Monday night on the FOX network.

She said on some talk show that she'd never won a proper award with her name on it. We have the chance to change that now.

Same here - that's like the first time ever that I wish my phone had all that internet stuff so I could vote while sitting in a lecture...:lmao:

tender looks 11-12-2010 05:49 AM

My phone has pretty good internet capablities, but not enough that the PCA site works on it, it's too big and fancy a site. So I just vote as hard as I can every spare minute I have online, I could tweet vote because I have twitter, but my timeline is already overflowing with PCA voting spam as it is. :goof:

Ah, I see:idea:
Yeah, every free minute I have I vote:lol: In between I do stuff for uni etc. which is good for my wrists as well as my education:lmao:

Yeah, you basically have to just re-tweet stuff to make it count as votes, don't you?:look:
It's very convenient and fast, but I suspect that you have to be careful not to tweet too much PCA-related stuff so your account doesn't get suspended:look:
