The thing is the situation that they were in the story for RR was such a real story that I think a lot of people an relate to. That makes it so much more sad....

Actually, there have been numerous documentaries done over the years about Titanic and it's passengers and there was a traveller by the name of Jack but they don't know his last name, so it was like thinking he was based on Jack or something...

Oh! That's interesting! I just know that James Cameron made-up the whole Jack/Rose romance story of the movie, but there were a lot of real-life accuracies depicted in the movie.

Yeah, the love story was made up but I think if I remember correctly, the Jack in the documentary was like a 5 year old boy whose body was not claimed by anyone so his family must have perished with the sinking.
