1. Hawkeye (2021) Hawkeye may be a miniseries, but executives have not ruled out season 2. In Hawkeye, former Avenger Clint Barton, AKA Hawkeye, has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Unfortunately for him, things get derailed when Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a superhero, accidentally steals a suit from his dark past. Kate, who idolizes the Avenger after watching him face the odds as a child during the events of the first Avengers film, wants to learn from him, but he wants to bury his past and move on. However, the two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton's past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit. Hawkeye acts as the introduction point for Kate Bishops' entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will have a semi-continuation of some of its essential cast members in Marvel's Echo, arriving on Disney+ in 2023. The MCU's holiday miniseries Hawkeye has an acceptable conclusion, and a second season is not needed. Yet fans would still love to see more scenes with Clint and Kate, or alternatively, with Kate and Yelena. Disney never definitively ruled out Hawkeye season 2. This season could show Clint finally retiring for good, and Kate beginning to undertake missions on her own. In some cases, a long-awaited new season is unnecessary because the show was past its time anyway. In others, including Hawkeye, one more season to wrap things up is exactly what the story needs.
