I'm not surprised they don't have any guest appearances scheduled now. I never thought it would happen before the second half of the 9-1-1 season. She's already filming SMILF and Dirty John now and 9-1-1 should film much longer than either of those shows. If she's doing a guest appearance for Ryan now my bet would have already been on AHS since that's also a shorter season.

But I can always hope she stops doing Ryan shows completely

And I've got SMILF and Dirty John so I can just ignore all the Ryan stuff

Really looking forward to Dirty John! It will be on Netflix worldwide, and Hopefully soon after USA broadcasting (and otherwise there are solutions to watch it sooner

SMILF S2 starts in January... I'd guess January 20th because that's when Shameless has its midseason premiere
