awesome! I'll have to look into some colours tomorrow... I would love a fresh look and something different than the purple/yellow colour we have right now
and as for the graphic I really need to think of that... Doing a male or female celeb in the banner is tricky because everyone has its favourites... Could we just be doing a male and female silhouette along with some other attributes like in this banner that represent TV, movies and such? Or a different 'celeb icon' from the past? Curious to know anyone else's ideas! __________________

How about taking some trophys and the Hollywood sign in the banner?
Academy Awards, Peoples Choice, etc. Color... well, I like grey and pink __________________

oh I like that idea as well It's very neutral at least.. I think it should remain neutral
Pink and grey work well together though pink is a very female colour Though in this setting I like it. Not sure if I want a colour that's more neutral? The purple in the current setting feels a bit too female as well for a male/female celeb forum Though pink in a right dosage could work. I do like colours like these as well.. You could do pink & blue with greys if you don't want to be too feminine
Your last suggestion doesn't work as it prompts you to open/save the file to your computer (which I'm sorry but I don't feel like doing ) __________________

No. 2 looks nice
Pink is female, but the whole Darren board was pink, so i guess color is unisex here __________________

Generally the colour pink is associated with females. The Darren board wanted a more feminine feel which is why it had shades of pink/purple. There's also no rule saying certain colours must be used for certain genders. It is just a fact that blue is normally used to represent males while pink is used to represent females. As far as i remember when the celebrities were split into two boards the female one was pink while the male one was blue too. You could say its being used as unisex but i think most wouldn't see it that way
I think purple/green (#2) is a good mix as it doesn't use either colour associated with the genders. Yellows & greens are often used as neutrals/unisex when it comes to gender too if that means anything to you guys __________________

So we could use green?
I mean if you mix pink and blue you get some sort of green But then, I do not like green - except for apple green... __________________

I like the greens in #2 because they match the purple in its tone...
You mean a brighter green Steffi? __________________

You can use whatever colours you want
If you're not a fan of green we could use it minimally. Not sure how apple green goes with purple though __________________

I was more thinking that with purple & green you've got to get the right shades so they look nice together but that could just be me (& my tired brain) . I guess all colours you've got to find the right shades to make them go together . We wouldn't want you to have an all bright board, that'd be harsh on the eyes
If you wanted more of an apple green than what Karen suggested I found this & this. But both of those are more green that purple. We could also take the purples from Karen's suggestion & add in the apple green . If you're not a fan of green though I think Karen's suggestion is more teal so you may prefer that? This one isn't quite apple green & has a darker olive green in it? __________________
