There's good news for fans of "Ugly Betty," "Men in Trees" and "Brothers & Sisters."

ABC announced Wednesday that the network is picking up all three freshman series for another season.

"Ugly Betty," one of the bigger hits of the season, was considered a lock for renewal. "Men in Trees" and "Brothers & Sisters" took a bit longer to find their footing and fan bases, but both have developed into satisfying, ABC-style mildly soapy relationship dramas. (And by the way, "Men" will be back on Thursdays in April as soon as the awful "October Road" finishes a trial run.)

Also renewed Wednesday (and none of these shows were in much danger of going away): "Lost," "Desperate Housewives," "Dancing with the Stars, "The Bachelor," "Grey's Anatomy," "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," "Boston Legal" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Not on the renewal list: "Six Degrees." It looks as though the bunch of episodes that ABC will air starting Friday could be the last we see of that show.

YAY!! I mean, like they said it was pretty much a lock, so this is just fantastic for me to see it in writing somewhere.

Also, figured we could use this thread to post all the news we find on the renewal and talk about what we might like to see in the 2nd season, and it will all eventually depend on the finale. Until then, no spoilers if you know what's coming.
