This is a storyline that could've been really good in season 2, but King screwed it up, as usual.

Because it seems Peter wasn't originally going to save the cheerleader on time.

And Claire was suppose to die ALTHOUGH we learned in season 3 that's not true.

Even Hiro had to tell Peter to save the cheerleader, so I don't know.
