Before I watch the show I used to see its name everywhere, but I never really cared about it after I learned it revolved around football. Anyways,one day I was watching a video on YT, something like best TV first kisses ever..I knew a lot of couples but number one was Tim and Lyla and when I saw their first kiss my immediate reaction was "OMG,I have to start watching this show right now."
 Before I watch it, I came here to look at their thread out of curiosity and thanks to amazing OP I became a shipper before I watch the show. They're both so good looking and their chemistry shows even from the pictures so you know they're a special couple. Although season 1 has all their cute scenes, season 2 is still my favorite Tyla season. I think we had the chance to see their relationship in a whole different level especially from Tim's side.. |

Season 2 was amazing for them and I think we got to see some great development in their relationship, even if they didn't get together.

The opening is still so gorgeous
 I agree, S2 gave them great development and really proved that Tim loved Lyla, and I think we can safely say Lyla has very strong feelings for him. I also loved that although they didn't get together, we still got given a lot of hope that they will. I mean their arc was cut short in the season due to the strike. |

The opening is so stunning. It's one of the prettiest I've ever seen.
S2 definitely gave us a lot of hope for them, which was fantastic. Especially after getting virtually nothing the second half of S1. So it was really nice to see their relationship being visited again and to see development there. __________________

Im just convinced that they are meant to be because both seasons clearly portrayed that to me. In season 1, even tho they were in the wrong by cheating with each other and hurting Jason, I still rooted for them because it was clear that they had this connection. In season 2 I was really worried that the show would just ignore what they had, but they didnt. They brought them back and their connection was still as obvious as ever. The end of the season really started to show where Lyla's head was at as well.
I NEED season 2 on dvd. I still havent seen the episode where he confesses his feelings to her! Gah. __________________

ITA Alex. The fact that the show revisited them and developed clear feelings there, and they've probably had more build up than any other couple so far over the span of the seasons, makes me believe, hope, that they are meant to be. It would seem almost illogical if next season was the last and they never got together properly.
