It was pretty nice, nicer than I expected it to be. The sun even decided to come out, which made a nice change from all the rain we've been having.
I got a few things that friends made for me, which I loved.  |

That's very nice, with the sun at all. Guess it just waited for a special day to come out.
 Meaningful presents are always great. I love selfmade things, since they show more thoughfulness than something just bought in a shop.  __________________

Awww, I hadn't thought about the sun finally showing itself in that regard. Perhaps you're right.
Yeah, those are always the sweetest gifts. It just shows all the effort that goes into it. A friend made a vid for me with my favorite couple and another one I really like. It just went up on YT last night...and I'm so in love with it. I thought that made for a lovely present.  |
