...actually, I know what I would do. Leave the actual cell phones at home, and take a prepaid one where only the essential people have the number.

But yeah, I have no idea why they answered the phone. That was crazy.

Even Erin bothered Pam in the second deleted scene. Did anyone ever even think twice about calling Phyllis when she was gone for that buttload of time? Nope. But bother Jim and Pam is on everyone's mind.

I'm with you on the prepaid phone thing. Or just give the important people the hotel number. How much could be so important it couldn't wait a week?

Sally - There wasn't anything in the deleted scenes involving Jim and Pam except that Erin called Pam when she accidentally ruined her painting. Pam wasn't too happy to be bothered on their honeymoon again.
