Ryan is always the best part.

Well I do get Andy saying something like that even though it's obviously not how he really feels. She rejected him. She chose Gabe over him. He said that after his comment about not wanting her. I was really happy to see Erin make a move. And it does suck we didn't get the moment we all wanted.

The only reason they didn't let it happen... is because they want people to tune in next season. But I do understand Andy rejecting her because of that. But they could have easily had him take it back after he rejected her. It was a total plot device to carry it over.

It seemed kind of petty of Andy to do that though. I'd rather of seen him swallow his pride and be the bigger person there, since he obviously loves her too.

But I agree that it definitely was a plot device. I guess the audience does probably need more to come back for then just, oh who is the boss going to be?

I'm really confused that Kelly got a promotion but Mindy has said this was her last season. Like, what gives?

Kelly didn't get a promotion I thought.

I loved this episode though. It wasn't very exciting to be honest, but it was good, classic Office. I can't wait for next season.

Mindy said on the record it was. And they clearly stated Kelly was promoted by taking Gabe's old position. That's why she was part of the Search committee.

Really? We thought she said that before but that wasn't the case. Was this recent? She'll still be around next season as far as I know.

I haven't watched it back. I didn't think she was taking Gabe's position but I guess that makes sense.

No, Kelly was simply replacing Gabe on the search committee, not his actual work position. Or did I miss something?!

I agree though JamieScott that it was disappointing as a season finale, good as an episode though.

That's what I thought, but I can see how it could have been interpreted the other way. I haven't watched it back so maybe I misunderstood.
