Ashlee was the school hottie. Her life was perfect, the perfect boyfriend, the perfect looks, the perfect best friend, the perfect everything. Ashlee was the head cheerleading squad with a great life, until one fatal day. Her best friend Racheal was in the car with her boyfriend during a blizzard, going home. The car was speeding and the road was icy. After Racheal went missing Ashlee got depressed and didn't go to school for two weeks. After Racheals parents got the call that their daughters body was found they contacted Ashlee right away. She never felt happy after that day. She stopped wearing the make up, doing the kartwheels, going out with her boyfriend, and being popular. Her life was ruined, or so she thought.

Ashlee was in her room laying down watching t.v. A knock came to the door.
Ashlee: Come in!
The door opened and a girl about 16, Ashlee's age, walked in.
Haley: Hi, I'm Haley. I'm just here to bring you you're homework since you were absent.
Ashlee: Oh thanks, you can put it on the table.
Haley: Sorry I just barged in, the door was opened and I figured..
Ashlee: No problem, thanks.
Haley: *nodded and left the room*
Ashlee thought to herself how much Haley reminded her of Racheal. The quietness, the sweetness, and the perfect best friend material. Ashlee stood up and walked over to her closet. She dug out all of the old clothes, the make-up, and the pom poms. She lyed them all on the bed and sat down, thinking how much she missed it, to be noticed.

Ashlee put the clothes back into the closet. For the next few weeks Ashlee gained her confidence back. Ashlee and Haley were in the same homeroom class. Haley's desk was right infront of Ashlee's. Ashlee took a note and put it on Haley's desk. Haley picked it up and read it.

Please excuse Haley for she has denist appointment. Might be back by the end of the day. Thank you, Emily Gilmore.

Haley looked back at Ashlee
Haley: *whispering* What am I Lorlai's mom now?
Ashlee: *laughs* Well you're last name is Gilmore and I couldn't think of a first name so..
Haley smiled back at Ashlee and then stood up and handed the note to the teacher. She excuse her and several minutes after Ashlee handed in her note, the teacher excused Ashlee as well.
Ashlee: Haley?!
Haley: Over here!
Ashlee: Whats wrong?
Haley: That's the first time I've ever skipped class!
Ashlee: *laughs* so lets go *grabs her hand*
Haley: Where?
Ashlee: The mall..you need some new clothes!
Haley: Thanks alot!
They went into Ashlee's car and drove to the mall.
Haley: I haven't been here in forever!
Ashlee pulls into the mall.
Ashlee: Me neither! it's almost been 3 days now! *gets out of the car and waits for Haley*
Haley: *gets out of car* I don't know..
Ashlee: Well I know..you need some new clothes..big time!
They walk into the mall and right into the store Nearly 21
Ashlee grabs Haley an outfit
Ashlee: Try this on!
Haley takes the outfit and puts it on
Ashlee: I dont like it..try this!
After over 5 outfits Ashlee found one she loved on Haley
Ashlee: PERFECT!
Haley looked at herself
Ashlee: Go get changed
Haley went back into the dressing room and got her regular clothes back on.
Ashlee quickly grabbed the outfit from Haley and paid for it.
Haley: Ashlee! That's too expensive!
Ashlee: I do things like that for my friends. *hands Haley the bag*
Haley: Than-
Ashlee: *cuts Haley off* Oh my god! look them! *points to a guy*
Haley: Are they from our school?
Ashlee: Who knows? Who cares? *giggles and walks over to them* Hey boys
James: Hey
Matt: Hey *looks at Haley and smiles* I'm Matt
James: I'm James
Ashlee: I'm Ashlee..and this is Haley..So where do you guys go?
Both of them: Methacton High
Ashlee: Interesting..skipping?
James: Of course..so do you guys wanna come to this party later on?
Ashlee: We'd love to!
Matt: Where do you live?
Haley just stood there quiet
Ashlee: Pick us up at this adress *writes it on his hand*
James: Okay..cya
Ashlee waved and smiled
Ashlee: Oh my god! We have to go back to get me an outfit!!
They went back and bought Ashlee an outfit. Three hours later after Haley got dropped off at her house, she went back.
Ashlee: Heyy friend! you ready?
Haley: Yeah..*walks in*
Ashlee: You look great!
Haley: You do too.
The two boys come. Haley and Ashlee get into the car. Ashlee and James in the front, Haley and Matt in the back. There was complete silence until Ashlee finally said something.
Ashlee: So who's throwing this party?
James: Jeff Smith.
Haley felt a feeling of uneasiness. Haley's old boyfriend was Jeff Smith. He was the reason she transferred over to Boyertown High School.

Haley's Thoughts: Ohh what a fun night this will be!

Matt: We're here. *gets out and opens Haleys door*
Haley: Thank you *smiled
Ashlee grabbed Haleys hand
Ashlee: Lets go girlfriend!
Ashlee and Haley both went into the huge house which was filled with teens and beer.
Haley: Oh boy *sighs*
