I guess but if you are off balance or unskilled like me well my ankle got messed up.

That's one of the fears I guess I have about skating, I don't mind falling and/or getting a couple of scrapes and bruises but the thought of twisting my ankle

I've twisted it and sprained it a few times it's not fun.

I feel you I've done both mine a few times and once unrelated to roller skating I broke my toe
