And hopefully the first step to that is repairing the profound bond! Because this whole Dean/Cas angst isn't working for me.

Me too!!! It's amazing news. Repairing their bond is the first thing that needs to be done! I need my old Dean & Cas back. I miss their eye gazing, lack of personal space, innuendo from Dean. Now if we could get a proper hug as well, I would be on cloud 9!

I still say they should time warp back to before Dean goes to hell, they'll still meet Cas somehow because Cas will remember who they are even if they don't remember Cas and they can start all over.

Except for the Dean/Cas bond...I kinda wish I could erase the last 4 seasons. Season four annoyed me to no end! I still can't believe Sam did what he did, and then in season 6 it was Cas, and then this season with the whole Leviathans....I want a do over!

If it weren't for Season 5 which I quite enjoyed, I would have totally agreed with you! Season 4 wasn't good at all & then Sam having no soul in season 6, along with Castiel's betrayal? it was just bad. I would love a do over!

My favorite was season 2 not so much for the over all arc but I loved so many episodes from that season. Season 5 was okay-ish. I got tired of Sam's "I'm sorry's" and I HATED the finale...actually the last five minutes of it. but to get a bit back on topic.

If I had to pick a Cas season and base it purely on Cas and none of the other storylines, then I would say season 4 was my favorite.
