It's a great scene where Ben wants to read Sarah (his crush) the poem he wrote for her. He's wonderful in the scene, so effective as the awkward and shy boy who doesn't really know how to act or behave around girls. Went ahead and started; hope that's okay!
I wasn't sure if I needed to take out anything (screening dates; "Ruperts soon to be released movie";etc.) If so, just let me know! Enjoy! __________________

You did a great job with starting the new thread, Mel! It's much appreciated!
And I fixed some of the things that needed fixing, by the way. I hope you don't mind. And thanks for posting those wonderful reviews! I just love that first one... Quote:

Rupert hardly speaks. You're lucky to get anything out of him these days, he just has a wicked sense of humor and he's very eccentric and very unique in the way that he does things. He's like a big kid. I feel like he'll never grow up, which I love. |

Ooh!! It's great that you'll finally get to see it, Sandi! I'm sure you'll love it, and I can't wait to hear what you thought of it.
I've always loved that poster as Rupe's all nice and prominent there in the front. __________________

I just watched this today...I'd been waiting forever (it felt) for it to be released. Netflix has it in their selection so thats where I got it.
I really liked it... but of course it was all about Rupert for me. He's the best part of the HP movies and a total scene stealer... So seeing him really subdued and quiet as Ben was interesting. He definitely can hold your attention and command a scene. I can't wait to see what else he can do. I really hope to see him play something completely against type. Overall it was a really enjoyable movie. __________________

Shame on you indeed, Sabrina! I order you to get yourself a copy and watch it now!!!
j/k I'm sure you'll love it whenever you get around to seeing the film. Hello Court! Welcome! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. I really couldn't have said it better myself. He's all that and so much more. As great actors as Julie and Laura are, and the rest of the cast was good too, Rupert was simply the best part of the movie for me. If he had played the part differently, had given his character another kind of tone, less subdued, I don't think it would have worked. Shows just what great instincts he has and how incredibly gifted he actually is. __________________

I just saw Driving Lessons over the weekend and I loffed it. Rupert did a really great job considering his limited experience.

Yes, he certainly did.
He's already impressing the heck out of people with his talent in a very limited capacity when doing HP so can you imagine when he does acquire more experience and becomes even more self-assured? He's going to knock our socks off even more than he does now. __________________
