I thought the Carver's kidnapping and destroying Kimber was fantastic. Horrifying, but fantastic. I felt tortured watching it, but it was such a huge turning point for her character.

the important part is that now Kimber seems to be moving on from the Carver attack. Finding her way back to her old life. With her and Matt making that video, her questioning her new religion, ect.. I can't say what Kimber will do about the baby but A return for her would be great.

She's seemed to be more happy visting with old porn friends during that sex tape her and Matt made then any other time since the Carver took her.

'I don't diet and I have a great body'
Nip/Tuck star Kelly Carlson:

By BILL HARRIS

Kelly Carlson wants you to know she doesn't diet.

"I had a cheeseburger for dinner the other night with my friend Kevin Hearn from the Barenaked Ladies," said Carlson, the stunning blonde beauty who plays Kimber Henry in the controversial TV series Nip/Tuck.

"Kevin is one of my best friends and he can tell you, I don't diet. But I take care of myself. I work out, I drink a lot of water and I lead a clean life.

"I don't drink coffee because I don't think it's good for you, but it's not a diet thing. I don't eat a lot of pasta because it makes me tired, not because I get fat.

"I do keep in mind it's my responsibility on the show to have a good body. But when someone says all women (in show business) diet, it's not true."

Carlson was in Toronto this week to promote the fourth season of Nip/Tuck, which will air on CTV, starting this weekend.

The series, based on the world of plastic surgery, already has gone through its fourth season in the United States on the F/X Network.

Obviously, body image is a regular topic of conversation whenever Carlson is interviewed, considering the nature of Nip/Tuck.

But Carlson was particularly intent on making a point after hearing what a red-carpet commentator had to say at the Academy Awards last Sunday night.

Debbie Matenopoulos of the E! Network insisted that most female celebrities diet and don't eat much -- and if they claim otherwise, they're "lying."

"She's projecting, because I don't diet and I have a great body," said Carlson, 31.

"Women in their 20s go through a lot of stuff. A lot of them aren't comfortable in their skin yet, and they're going through their heavy stage, and their eating-disorder stage, and their starvation stage. But if you focus on women in their 30s in this industry, most of them are very healthy.

"Look at Jennifer Aniston. She doesn't diet. She goes running. And she's gorgeous. Why aren't people focusing on that?"

The fifth season of Nip/Tuck doesn't start filming till June, but Carlson admitted she's concerned about the fate of the troubled Kimber.

"I don't know what's going to happen, and I have a big mouth so they don't tell me," Carlson said.

"I hope Kimber sticks around, but you never know.

"I never want to leave Nip/Tuck.

"It would be very hard to top that character, which is one of the most dynamic characters on TV, as far as I'm concerned."

Kimber isn't that dynamic to me. If anything, she's very 2-dimensional. I wouldn't mind if they did end up getting rid of her eventually because the character has become a little boring. As for the rest of the article, Kelly seems a bit conceited. But that may just be me.

Yeah, Kelly was a bit much there. "...one of the most dynamic characters on TV, as far as I'm concerned." - yeah. Okay...

But of course you'd expect her to say that, she's the actress portraying the character. But still, as you said, a bit much.

You could say it means changing, but I don't think that's what she meant. I think she was leaning more towards great/awesome/etc.

I would say Kimber is a great character definitely, but I'm not sure that many people would even say she was the most awesome character out of the Nip/Tuck cast, let alone all of tv

But then, like you say, she is biased as the actress playing the part

Kimber is a good character. She isn't someone that I would see a role model for women but I would say that she has been one of the most complex characters on the show. Then again, most of the characters on this show are complex.

hmm.. That hard because certain character can fit into many different groups. As for female characters that I have seen. I would say that Kimber is one of the most complex.

I guess it just depends on your point of view because I really don't see it.

Well, my favorite female characters have been Buffy, before she all about sex with Spike, Fred from Angel, Aeryn from Farscape, and Chloe from Smallville.

All of them are much different from Kimber especially when it comes to expressing their sexuality.
