Haaaaa, I've read both OtR and IH. They were good but I don't remember considering them Skate fic but as really good Kate fic with Sawyer along for the ride. It got old after a while.

I was just going through some of the printouts to throw away ... brings back the happy memories of reading fresh Sawyer fic. *sigh*

I can't even remember the name of the fanfic I've got stashed away, but it's a good one. It was on the ooooold SK fanfiction site. I miss that place.

Watching that scene again reminds me how Jack/Kate had absolutely nothing that season until that ridiculous Candidate (?) episode. It shows how badly the writing deteriorated after season 3.

Please keep in mind that my recollection of season 6 is a little bit blurry, but I seem to remember the hysteric "Jack, I couldn't find you" scene while Sawyer was laying unconscious on the beach.

Yep, it was The Candidate. In rewatching those scenes, I realize how silly it was that we took everything so seriously as shippers. Like that scene Alex is talking about on the beach, I saw it the other night, and I just felt nothing. Like.. who cares anymore. :lol:
