watching Romancing the Stone rn for the first time I can definitely see the influence/resemblance on/to Skate

although Kate is definitely more adept with survival skills

their love theme, Romancing the Cage, is named after it (I admit to watching this movie because of this)

Whew it's been a while since I've been here! No one probably remembers me, lol. I'm re-watching LOST since the finale all those years ago and the feeeeels are hitting me. I'm on 3x06 now and I can't move past it, LOL. Literally the best episode ever. Sawyer and Kate are just.. electric. What amazing chemistry. I don't care who ended up with whom in the purgatory realm. Sawyer and Kate left that island together, very much alive, as two people who evolved and matured so much. I honestly believe they picked up where they left off and had a more successful go at it.

Ok.. rant over. Back to my re-watch. :)

Even though I'm a Sulieter, I did love a lot of the Sawyer/Kate scenes. I can understand Sawyer's dilemma. He craved a family life that he hadn't had as a child. Kate didn't want that so he found it with Juliet. I think that Sawyer loved them both in different ways.

Maybe Sawyer and Kate did get together afterwards. :) I hope Sawyer found his daughter and looked after her.
