One of my reasons as well; funnily enough the actress who plays her is right now the quietest one on twitter about this.

there is a way to behave when this sort of thing happens and the way that most of them...fans included...are behaving is absolutely the wrong way.

I never even saw the pilot. I tried to watch it but I couldn’t find it at all :shrug:

Jo it's actually a backdoor pilot so it's one of the episodes from season 13. You'll get to watch it when you get a chance to see this season.

CW chief Mark Pedowitz gave a reason as to why the network passed on the spinoff:

“We had really great material this year,” he said. “We’re really exited about the five series we did pick up. We are big fans of the characters and the women who played the characters in the series, but we did not feel creatively the show is where we wanted it to be. We felt we had a better shot with Legacies.”

Pedowitz added that CW execs are “big fans” of the Wayward actresses “and hope they continue on…guest starring on Supernatural.” x

thanks for posting that...I think that the network was just being honest and its hard for people to take.

After those comments were released some once again took to twitter to directly attack the network, accusing them of misogyny ("funny" considering some of those fans were also blaming the Charmed reboot for being the reason WS was passed on) and even making accusations of bribery (monetary and non monetary) being the reason Pedowitz passed on the show.

i saw those comments too....they were definitely acting very childish

Yes they were, they were even planning to upstage the s13 finale on twitter but that was a failure

And they definitely were! The fans were straight up crazy on Twitter and nasty to everyone!
