There is a bts featurette of the making of Scoobynatural, I finally figured out how to get access to it, it is available through iTunes with purchase of a season pass which retails for $29.99. I tried to access Google Play to see if it is available trough it but it would let me so I don't know if it's available there; as of right now they haven't mentioned this featurette being available on the season DVD or Blue-Ray. I imagine it will be included but to my knowledge they haven't mentioned it yet.

I'm not sure if anyone was planning on watching it but they decided not to pick up Wayward Sisters. I wasn't a fan of the episode but it still is bad news for anyone that was looking forward to it.

i'm not sure...maybe it didn't having the ratings or following. honesty...I know that people want another station to pick it up but I think it would only make sense on the CW.

There are several reasons why it was not picked up, of course none of this are "official" reasons but:

1) The average viewer is not interested in this. The interest seems to come from one concentrated group of people.

2) Even with all the (over the top) promo that they gave the backdoor pilot the ratings were just average.

3) The competition against this was a The Originals spinoff about Hope Mikaelsson. TVD is a franchise that lends itself to spinoffs, The Originals is a spinoff of TVD and it was successful so they know it will leave them money, and it seems like people are more receptive to this TO spinoff.

4) Katherine Newton who plays Claire, who would have been one of the main characters, has outgrown the network. If you look at her recent projects, she's been in Big little Lies, made appearances in movies, she's currently starring in a PBS special. She seems to be on the up and up.

5) Based on a comment Andrew Dabb made during PaleyFest at the Supernatural panel, CW didn't have a lot of interest in this spinoff.

I think they gave him the opportunity because he's the SPN EP but it's not something that blew them away or even that they had a lot of interest in to begin with.

thanks for writing out that list! better than I could have explained it :lol: they (the fans) are working so hard for the pick up but I honestly think they are wasting their time

I highly doubt the ones who wanted it will be successful considering that after the news broke out that it was not picked up some of them started directly attacking the network and some of the actors on twitter.

I saw that too…and the campaigning is so annoying…they just keep bombarding the network/powers that be

The only reason why I wasn’t too excited for the spin off was the character Claire, i found her character so annoying :shrug:

That was one of my reasons too…I was never a fan of her
