I've seen Gil before but he's so sweet and amazing. And I haven't gotten a photo op with him yet...so this year FOR SURE!

But it's official...I'll never make it to another SPN Creation convention. I just opened an email for the Jaxsonville con next weekend and they are selling a photo op for $499 (with all 4) I'm sorry, but their prices are getting way too crazy. I'm glad I went when I did and I thought the prices were a bit high then, but $500 for one photo?!? Nope, not for me. That's 5 days in a beautiful cottage in North Carolina

I know, it's ridicules. If you decide to get the 4 of them together you pretty much need to share it with somebody or not even think of getting a single op with anybody. There is no reason for them to charge that much.

I did separate pics & it was still cheaper. Creation just keeps getting lower & lower on my list.

The first year they offered it, I got the J2M pic...it was like 289 or something, now it's near 400...it's just not right. And it's not like you get that much time with them either. My one time goal was to get every photo op Jensen had every year, like solo, J2, JM, J2M, J2M2 etc...but I can't afford that if I ever wanted to go to another con. so I stick with my each J solo pick and my J2 pic. That's all I need, if prices keep rising though I may need to choose either the solos or the J2. This year I need my Gil op, I haven't gotten one yet and this year I am!

I don't even think I want to be that close to the actors. I'd be too busy thinking, "Did I put on deodorant?" "I should have used mouth wash" "Can they tell I have a stye on my eyelid?" "My arms look like they belong to a hairy little monkey" "The astigmatism is making me look like Crazy Eyes" "I should have used white strips on my teeth"

It doesn't look like I'll be able to go to VegasCon. I was going to borrow from my sister since in November she told me she had close to $3k in the bank but now she only has a few hundred left. I was really surprised it went down so much because she hasn't had to pay her part of rent (multigenerational family sharing a lease) in months since she's supposed to be saving to get her own place.

The only way I'll be able to go is if I go gambling when I get paid on Friday and win a small jackpot.

They are. It's very disappointing. They're so much fun, but you need to be realistic about how much money you can dish out. A lot more people would be able to enjoy them if they were cheaper.
