I mean, Joss is like, ruler of the scifi universe and although occasionally he pissed me off... i always thought his writing was on point. Vampire with a soul? Win. |

^^ so ditto!!! i am a HUGE buffy fan and i actually correlate kripke with whedon now... they're my faves! right up there with the schwahn (OTH)
 i truly hope there're lots in store for our Ruby... she deserves more, more airtime! __________________

 i used to love him and his ideas, but then came LP season 5, && how he ended BO, yea he can go eat a grenade anyway back on topic, Kripke is a god, i HEART him i haven't really ever disliked an idea of his, and he always makes things interesting! i really can't wait to see what he has in mind for ruby!__________________

this season sucks, i agree...it's true that kripke makes things interesting... i hope he never runs out of ideas!!! __________________

^^ season 3 was alright, i loved season 1 & season 4 the most!
&& Kripke probably won't! he said he really wants 5 seasons & he will be happy, i just hope that by some miracle he figures out enough amazing and exciting storylines to last 6 or 7 seasons, i don't want too many because i want them to go out on top, but 5 just seems not enough  __________________

agreed.. she deserves full character development. i mean, the angle of a "good" demon is an awesome one, as we already know.

^ yea, it would been boring if ruby was just another 'bad' demon.... we've had those, YED, && now lillith, i love this 'good' demon angle! it makes an opening for new and refreshing relationships between the brothers & her!

Exactly. I know lots of fans don't like her because she sets the show in a new direction but TBH the show will run out of stories and good episodes if it doesn't take risks.. I mean even Buffy ran out of steam by seasons 6 and 7 (they did A MUSICAL for christs sake...) So I think adding cryptic and complex new characters in small doses that slowly build will only help the show.
Bobby is fantastic but there's only so much you can do there unless you really carve out a plot for Bobby that helps him stand strongly on his own. (And this is from a Bobby ADORER) The one character that never should have left was JDM. That slays me. He is perfect and so my older man fantasy. |

ahem. All I can say is WORD about Mark and his stupid self ruining LP.
I'm trying to figure out how he will fix it without looking like more of an idiot.and yes  Ruby is not there to hurt the show, she is there to give it another level because, I love the boys more than anything, but the show needs dimensions and different paths, etc.__________________
