Yup, he was one smart cookie.

I really wish the boys could have known him sooner, they're lives would have been so different if they were raised as Men of Letters instead of Hunters. Although the way John was, Revenge was what was important, he still might have went the hunting root until he got the YED.

i completely agree!

I REALLY would've loved to see how things would be different if they were men of letters and not all out hunters. i hope that they take what henry said to heart and continue to think about it as epeisodes go on

There has to be other lines of "Men of Letters' out there somewhere.

Think of how powerful the men of letters could have been if they had stayed in tact all these years. I hope the boys can get them started again. If the Winchesters are still around there must be other relatives somewhere.

I know, the Men of Letters lair is pretty impressive, and it would be great if the Winchesters explored more of it and more back story about the Men of Letters
