For me it's definitely a scene in The End when Dean tells Cas "Don't ever change" and then they both smile.

That's definitely one of my faves!

You can see Dean's happiness at knowing he's got Cas on his side and you can see Cas's fondness of Dean and wanting to protect him.

These two are best when they are together, and I don't care how hard the writers try to break it up, Dean says they are family, that they are brothers, so Cas deserves to be saved!

I also love the chemistry between Jensen/Misha, they play so well together.

I don't think Dean and Cas would be nearly as heartwarming as they are without it.

These two became such a big thing simply because Jensen and Misha have such an intense yet loving chemistry!

I think the episode "The End" is like a love-letter to that relationship! And of course it was an Edlund episode!

I was just about to say the same! The scene where Dean looks on helplessly as his mum makes the deal with YED and Cas puts a comforting hand on his shoulder and they share an emotional gaze is up there as well.

Yep.

I've rewatched that episode recently and that scene is cute.

It was the very beginning of their friendship and yet you could see it all in their looks.

None of the writers understand Dean/Cas like Ben does.
