What a creepy episode, with the little girl appearing again in the kitchen after her mother drowned her.

Dean and Ben together was amusing, how they ate the cake at the same time after both watching the females walk by. And it was sweet how Dean was hoping Ben was his, since he thinks he'll be dying in a year and wants to leave a part of him behind (other than his car lol).

I don't know what to think of Ruby. She is pretty and claims she can help Sam, but she's a demon....

yeah, I know, this episode creeped me out the first time I watched it, those little kids, so creepy, esp the girl that kept saying 'mummy!'

That girl still creeps me out!! I watched this episode just the other day, and every time she says 'mommy' I get shivers!! ...they should have kept her for one of the liliths.

In my own little fanon, Ben is totally Dean's son. And honestly, I think the show gave us plenty of reason to believe this - the way that Lisa acted when Dean originally brought up the subject was way too nervous if she had proof that Ben wasn't Dean's. And her "I so didn't want to know that" response to finding out Dean's job was hunting monsters? While I don't necessarily approve of it, I could understand why, after she almost lost her son to monsters, Lisa wouldn't necessarily want Dean being a part of Ben's life, knowing that it might bring him into more risk. Oh, she was grateful for Dean saving Ben's life, but yeah, I can see the mother part of her worried about losing her son and wanting to protect him.

I'm prepared to take it at face-value, just because I don't see how Ben could really be integrated into the show's dynamic as Dean's son. But in my imagination (and in some fan fics ), I completely believe Ben is a Winchester.

I don't know, I can't decide. While I do think it would be cute in fics and stuff if Ben really is Dean's son, my love for the show doesn't really want to change the dynamics of the show ( the relationship between them is the main focus, but right now it's broken). I do wanna see Dean being super adorable to Ben though

Yeah, that's why I let my mind get divided between the actual show (where Ben is on record as not being Dean's) and my own little fandom (where Ben so is Dean's).

Because I love the idea of Dean and Sam raising Ben as a Winchester hunter, continuing the "family business". But only in my imagination - I don't think they could do it on the actual show.
