BOOOOOO, I'm on Spring Break this week and now it's half way over (I'm off work for most this week, too so it's really a break for me)

News of artists covering other artists songs does nothing but make me happy. It's the ultimate sign of respect. I reserve judgment on the news until I actually hear the final project. I learned that lesson when The Scorpions released their cover album. I thought it would be terrible (they're so old, too)....and it was a really amazing album. We'll see when it comes out. I do like Deep Purple....but I would never pay money for their albums. (I pay for a Spotify membership so it's streaming and the artists get paid that way because I don't have a CD player on my computer).

glad to hear that Matt. I have no doubt whatsoever that my sometimes brash opinions, overreaching commentary and long in the tooth methods are going to rub some people the wrong way. at the same time, I have to admit there are some personal and social boundaries I need to reflect upon and change with the times. you really can teach an old dog new tricks....at least this one.

ok, let's see. off topic, hmmmm are you a Lions fan? I'm a long time Husker fan and immediately became a Lion when Ndamukong Suh signed with them. most Detroit fans I've seen commenting want him to stay in place. it's gonna cost but I get the feeling the Lions brass will do what it takes to keep him from wearing another uniform.

I am a Lions fan. Living in Metro Detroit, gotta stay loyal to my home teams. I am a University of Michigan student (spent 10 years in and out of a community college constantly changing my mind and finally buckled down). So I'm a Wolverine fan for life, and love the Tigers, Lions and Red Wings. I'll support the Pistons, but they aren't even in Detroit, so F that noise!

Suh is a good addition but he needs to start playing by the rules. He gets in trouble too much and makes us look like cheaters. Where are you from and who are you a fan of?
